ILDO launched the opening program of using the water well in the Samrong village, Tajeh commune, Kompong Tralach district, Kampong Chhnang province, Kingdom of Cambodia on 22 May, 2011. The program was conducted with the participation of village leader and commune leader on behalf of local authority, 65 Muslim villagers, Imam of village and ILDO staff, under the presence of H.E Sem Sokha, Secretary of State of Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitations and Board director of Islamic Local Development Organization (ILDO).
With the good cooperation and consideration of a charity NGO in Turkey since year 2007, 4 member of Islamic Local Development Organization (ILDO) were invited to join the 4th UN LDCs Conference Civil Society Forum which is held in Istanbul, Turkey on 07-13 May, 2011 with topic of “Towards a world without LDCs”. On February 11, 2011, with the financial support from Diakonia, Islamic Local Development Organization (ILDO) a leading Muslim NGO who has worked actively on social issue such as Human Rights, Health such as HIV/AIDS, Micro credit since year 1996 in Battambang province, organized a workshop on Governance and Decentralization at Khemera I hotel, Battambang province.
On 12 August, 2010 at Nurun Naim Kilometer 8 located in Chraing Chamreh 2 commune, Russey Keo district, Phnom Penh city, His Excellency Sem Sokha, Secretary of State, Ministry of Social Affiar, Veteran and Youth Rehabilitation and advisory board of Islamic Local Development Organization (ILDO) was presided over the donation distribution to 250 Muslim families and 50 Muslim orphans for Iftar in holy month of Ramadan.
